Product Features
- This gel breaker perfectly resolves the conflict between two key performance requirements of crosslinked fracturing fluids: improving temperature and shear resistance, and realizing thorough gel breaking and hydration under designated conditions, so as to fully satisfy fracturing operation standards.
- During fracturing construction, it retains high viscosity of fracturing fluid to assist fracture propagation and proppant transport. After construction, it achieves complete gel breaking and hydration of the fluid for efficient flowback. It is especially suitable for breaking concentrated polymer and filter cake inside propped fractures, which reduces the damage of fracturing fluid to propped fracture conductivity and delivers higher oil and gas output.
- To meet the operation demands of deep and ultra-deep wells, the gel breaker is encapsulated with water-resistant coating. The coating prevents highly active persulfate substances from prematurely degrading fracturing fluids and meets all on-site construction requirements.
Applications
- Suitable for guar gum, hydroxypropyl guar gum and slickwater crosslinked fracturing fluid systems used in shallow and medium-temperature oil & gas wells. It maintains high fluid viscosity during construction to fulfill fracture propagation and proppant transport. After operation, it rapidly degrades gel to achieve complete gel breaking and flowback, reduce formation damage, and enhance fracture conductivity as well as oil & gas recovery rate.
- For high-temperature fracturing operations in deep and ultra-deep wells: The water-resistant encapsulated gel breaker isolates high-temperature formation fluid and delays the release of persulfate active ingredients, preventing premature viscosity loss and early failure of fracturing fluid. It fits long-duration sand-laden construction in deep high-temperature reservoirs. The coating dissolves after construction to release active agents for thorough gel breaking.
